Water is one of the most important resources in La Paz County. Our communities, farms, businesses, and future all depend on healthy aquifers and responsible groundwater management. The Water Alliance of La Paz County was created to bring people together around that shared responsibility.
The Alliance is a community-driven effort focused on improving understanding of our local groundwater systems, supporting informed conversations about water policy, and helping residents stay connected to the decisions that affect our region’s water future.
Why the Alliance Exists
Much of La Paz County relies on groundwater stored in underground aquifers. These aquifers supply homes, farms, and local businesses across the county. Yet groundwater systems are often misunderstood, and information about them can be difficult for residents to access or interpret.

What We Do
